The boy and I have heard great things about Haven Gastropub in Old Towne Orange, so we decided to go down there for dinner one night. I love the vibe of Old Towne and think Haven fit in just perfectly. They have a great craft beer list which draws an even bigger crowd around dinner time.

Berkshire short ribs
Brussel sprouts
The boy and I loved the French onion soup and burger, but wasn’t too fond of the other two.
Update: After the first time I had the burger, I deemed it one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. When we went back the second time, I asked what type of cheese was in it because it tasted so good. Our waitress told me it was a Point Reyes Bleu Cheese and I cringed at her. I HATE bleu cheese with a passion. The thought of eating ‘moldy’ cheese make me gag a little. Even though I deemed this one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, I have yet to return knowing that it’s stuffed with bleu cheese. When we did go back though, we love their mac&cheese and mushroom risotto. Can’t give up on a good restaurant just because my “favorite burger” has moldy cheese in it!
